On Thursday, October 19th, starting at 10 a.m. in the Small Sports Hall of Spens, the sports inclusive event “Friendship Games” was held. The event was opened by the head of the City of Novi Sad’s Sports and Youth Department, Mr. Vlastimir Mastilović.
In their further remarks, the event organizers, on behalf of the Ecumenical Humanitarian Organization (EHONS), the Association of Police Officers and Citizens “Safe Community,” the Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations of the Republic of Srpska (KIRS), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the Center for Crisis Response and Policy (CRPC), welcomed the participants and expressed their gratitude for their participation.
Representatives from the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia have attended the event. This visit was a result of collaboration initiated during a joint meeting between the Office and the “Safe Community” Association.
The purpose of the game was to promote the importance of mental and physical health among the youth and encourage unity among children and young people from various social backgrounds. A large number of youth volunteers participated in the event, contributing to the successful realization.
