On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the regular annual meeting of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and civil society organizations (CSOs) with which the Office has signed Memorandums of Cooperation was held. The meeting included several items on the agenda, namely: presentation of realized projects, programs and research of CSOs in 2023; presentation of four CSOs with which the Office signed Memorandums of Cooperation in October 2023; discussion on plans for cooperation between the Office and CSOs for 2024; exchange of information on the creation of a new public policy document in the area of drug policy – the Operational Plan for the Prevention of Drug Abuse.
The meeting was opened by Jovan Vojnović, representative of the, and in front of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the director, Mr. Milan Pekić, greeted the present representatives of civil society organizations and held an opening speech and greeted the present representatives.

In the continuation of the meeting, Vojnović invited representatives of civil society organizations to present the current projects they are implementing, as well as the results of already implemented activities. He also called for the presentation of CSO's plans for the future. After presenting the results of projects and activities that will be implemented in the future, Vojnović informed the present representatives of civil society organizations about the current situation in the field of drafting public policy documents.
