On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia held an online meeting with and civil society organizations (CSO), with whom Office have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The aim of the meeting was to inform CSO with the current activities of the Office, as well as to present current projects implemented by CSOs in the field of the fight against drugs.
The meeting was opened by Director of Office for Combating Drugs Milan Pekić, who expressed gratitude to CSO for close cooperation. The Office will continue to providing assistance with CSO projects, according to Memorandum of Cooperation which is signed with 20 organizations, Director Pekić said. Likewise, he mentioned that Office will provide public call for new CSOs which express interest to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Office.

Present participants presented the projects planned for 2022, as well as the successful practices. They also pointed out the problems they face with in the realization of projects. Participants expressed gratitude for the tendency of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, when it comes to the active involvement of CSOs in creating public policies against drugs.
