On Tuesday, October 24, 2022, the humanitarian organization “Reto-Ima nade” presented its work in the City of Zrenjanin. In the same bulding of Youth Office of Zrenjanin, the HO “Reto- Ima Nade” will hold meetings once a week for people who need counseling and support for resocialization and drug rehabilitation.
The Office for Combating Drugs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with 20 civil society organizations dealing with the fight against drugs. Some of these organizations have therapeutic communities within their activities. One of them is the Belgrade-based humanitarian organization “Reto – Ima nade”, which was founded in 1985 in Cantabria, Spain, while it has been active in Serbia for 20 years.The main goal of the organization is moral, cultural, material and spiritual assistance to people belonging to various marginalized groups, mostly drug and alcohol addicts. The purpose of rehabilitation at the center is not only abstinence from psychoactive substances, but also recovery from them and a complete return to society. The entire program is implemented within the reception houses and premises that the center owns.
The Office for Combating Drugs, on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation, addressed the representatives of the City Administration of the City of Zrenjanin through an official recommendation and supported the process of assigning the premises to the HO “Reto-Ima Nade”.
